Your phone already counts your steps. Gyvo turns it into a complete training platform — and then does what no tracker does: it makes sure you follow through.

What your phone can measure — no watch needed

• In your pocket: steps, walking and running minutes, cycling and active minutes — measured while the phone sits where it always does. Distance and calories are estimated from your steps, and labelled as estimates.
• On a run or ride: distance, pace and time from GPS, with personal records. Location is read only while the workout is on, with a visible notification.
• In front of the camera: push-ups and squats counted, plank and wall-sit timed, lunges counted — the last three still marked “in testing” in the app. The analysis happens on your phone and no video is ever saved. In Coach mode, a rep only counts when you reach the depth you calibrated yourself.
• Set daily or weekly goals on steps, minutes, kilometres and reps, and watch your streaks and history build.

Then it holds you to it

• Promises. Turn a goal into a promise and choose who hears about it. Miss it, and your friend gets a short email: the goal, how far you got — and for a daily promise, how the week stands — plus a request for a sign of life. No telling-off, no data dump — and every email has a link to stop them. If Gyvo couldn't measure your day, nobody gets an email.
• Earn your scroll. Pick the apps that eat your evenings and an hour of the day. From then on they wait behind a polite wall until today's goals are done. The home button always works, the wall lifts at midnight, and it never holds you when Gyvo couldn't measure. A nudge you chose — not a lock. The list of apps you choose never leaves your phone. Android only for now.

Nothing runs on willpower or the honour system. Gyvo only counts what it measured, and the consequences are the ones you set.

Built to be trusted

• Your training data stays on your phone. Cloud sync is optional and off by default, and a promise sends only that goal and its numbers — nothing else leaves.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• When Gyvo can't measure something it shows a dash — never a made-up number.
• Location is read only during a workout you started, with a visible notification.
• An account (Google sign-in) is needed only for Promises — so Gyvo knows who an email is from — and for the optional cloud sync. Measuring, goals, history and the camera never ask for one.

The name

Write Gyvo, not GYVO. The wordmark is set in lowercase — gyvo. — but in a sentence it is a capitalised proper noun. Never all caps: GYVO shouts and reads as an acronym.

Wordmark and icon

SVG for print and web, PNG in 512 and 1024 px. The wordmark has a transparent background; the app icon has a solid forest-green background. Please use the files as they are — no recolouring, stretching or effects.
